Architectural Concept Sketches
Single building concept sketches drawn with pencil, ink, and/or marker on paper. Scanned into Photoshop with curves slightly adjusted (digital color only added in the first sketch).
When adding color to concept work, I tend to stay with simple shadows and base colors. They give just enough definition to convey form and design language without overworking the concept.

kindly hugging the forest's edge.

For days I could think of nothing but plaster
and beams and tall brick chimneys....
and little glass panes and sweeping roof planes.
