Winter Street Scene Environment

A few years ago I had the good fortune of travelling in southern Germany and was spellbound by the local architecture. The buildings had clearly seen dozens of different owners, uses, retrofits, and remodels in their lifetime. Thinking about their unique history and evolution heavily inspired this environment.

The scene uses a medium poly + decal workflow with basic tiling materials created in Designer. A few unique textures were done in Painter, and trim sheets made quick work of the wood elements. I created everything on this project, start to finish, with the exception of the VFX components which were modified from UE4 example projects.
